Zach Cregger expands its “barbaric” cinematic universe with the long -awaited “Arms. “While a little is known about Cregger’s latest horror/thriller, the new line Cinema Chief Richard Brenner described the film as “batshit crazy.”
Julia Garner plays as a teacher whose entire classroom with children disappears in the middle of the night. Josh Brolin is one of the many parents who require answers. Did Garner’s character attract them? Is this supernatural? And who orchestras a number of murders in town … could it be the children?
The log line reads: “Weapon” is a “horror movie that follows a whole classroom with children coming out of their beds and disappears one night without a trace. When everyone except a child from the same class in a mysterious way disappears the same night at exactly the same time, a society is left to question who or what is behind their disappearance.”
Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong and Amy Madigan also play. Cregger leads from his own script and produces together with Roy Lee, Miri Yoon, JD Lifshitz and Raphael Margules. Brolin and Michelle Morrissey produce executive.
The filmmaker’s creative team behind the camera includes head of photography Larkin Seiple, production designer Tom Hammock, editor Joe Murphy and costume designer Trish Sommerville. The music is by Ryan Holladay, Hays Holladay and Cregger. “Weapons” is a subconscious, scams entertainment and boulderlight pictures production. It will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and released in theaters and IMAX across the country.
Cregger’s Feature debut “Barbarian” was an indie hit that gathered $ 45 million all over the world. Later he landed a deal with Studio New Line Cinema and will be Reboot the “Resident Evil” franchise. Congratulations previously revealed that A24 and Neon both forwarded “Barbarian” before joining Boulderlight to produce; New Regency, Vertigo and Disney later on board The horror thriller. “Weapon” is said to exist within the same universe as “Barbarian.”
The “weapon” crew is also part of another cinematic universe: Garner, Brolin and Wong are all MCU booklets, with yarns that make her Marvel Debut with “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” movie.
