Kieran Culkin delivered a must-see moment at 2025 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards February 23 when he picked up the trophy for outstanding performance by a male actor in a supportive role to play Benji Kaplan in A real pain alongside Jesse Eisenberg. (See all SAG -Prize winners here.)
While accepting the trophy, Culkin looked to crack some jokes including playful shouting Adrien Brody by noting the allowed time allowed for speech.
“Thank you Sag-Aftra, for this incredibly heavy award,” joking Culkin and referred to a stand presented on stage, “that’s why they put the thing here, I guess, right? I think it’s not somehow any Can last for 45 seconds, which is the assigned time.
But Culkin quickly made it clear that his note outside the cuff was just that: “There was no reason to take that shot. I love you. It’s a joke. You take the time.”
And the competition was steep when Culkin hit out Jonathan Bailey (Evil), Yura Borisov (Aor, Edward Norton (A complete unknown) And his past Sequence costs Jeremy Strong (The apprentice).
In his speech, Culkin continued to offer a sweet exclamation to Wife in over a decade Jazz cartonThe As he shares a 5-year-old daughter Kinsey And 3-year-old son Wilder.
“My wonderful, wonderful, funny wife jazz, I love you,” he glowed. “Thank you for giving me my favorite people in the world.”
