Ozy’s oldest child from his marriage to Thelma certainly did not spend much time with the rocker, who was often gone on tour.
“My recovery from my childhood with dad is that he would be gone for very long periods, and there would always be a period of adjustment when he got home, and then it would come to normality and then he would go again,” said Jessica in the 2011 documentary God bless Ozzy Osbourne. “So it was a very uneven chidhood with dad.”
And when he Where At home, he would often go to the pubs.
“When he was around and he was not cursed, he was a great father,” Louis added. “But it was rarely.”
After Ozzy and Thelma were divided, he and his children still kept contact. There was actually a section of Osbournes Where Ozzy got a conversation that Jessica had born and he was a grandfather for the first time. Louis has also shared that he sees Aimee, Kelly and Jack sporadically.
“I don’t travel half as much as I used to and they are in America,” he told Birmingham live 2012. “There is a greater chance that we will see each other in a random New York hotel than we all get around a table for a Sunday lunch. We meet on special occasions.”
However, he and his father made it a point to check in regularly.
“Dad usually calls on a Sunday afternoon to catch up and when he comes to the UK we take the children down,” Louis added. “Dad is amazing, very much a spotting grandfather.”
Little has been shared publicly about Louis and Jessica’s brother Elliot.
