After giving the world two years to breathe after the devastating, deadly Oceangate tragedy, Netflix releases a documentary about what went wrong underwater. “Titana: Oceangate disaster“Hails from Story Syndicate, the producing team behind” Gone Girls “and” Britney v Spears. “Mark Monroe is directing the feature coming premiere at the Tribeca festival June 6 before streaming on Netflix June 11.
The titanium that was underwear was on its way to the ruins of Titanic in June 2023. All members on board died. Submersible was run by American Sea Tourism and Expedition Company Oceangate; Titana disappeared for four days while carrying five passengers, including Oceangate CEO Rush. On June 22, the ship’s debris was discovered on the seabed.

The “Titanic” director James Cameron previously criticized Oceangates handling the Titan expedition. In July 2023, the filmmaker denied a false report that he was developing a project based on Titan Submersible Explosion. He called the rumor ”offensive. “Cameron had before issued a statement On the tragedy that criticizes the late CEO Rush and Oceangate for their reckless security practice.
