Tictoker Sydney Towle shares heartbreaking update in the midst of cancer: “This is not good”
Sydney Towle becomes sincere about the struggle to stay positive through its traumatic cancer experience.
The Dartmouth degree, which was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, or as bile duct cancer, two years ago, shared a sad update with its 800,000 Tiktok followers on June 17.
“It’s the first time I’ve gone in and they’ve said,” this isn’t good, “Sydney said in a video. “It is obviously not what you want to hear when you have cancer.”
She continued to share that the latest update of her health will require her to receive a liver pump, which according to Upenn Medicineis “a medical equipment used to deliver chemotherapy directly to the liver.”
Sydney – which will go in for surgery on June 30 and remain in hospital for four or five days – noted that it will be “experimental to try the pump in combination with Kemo.
Through tears, she added how her health has disturbed her normal life as a 25-year-old.
“I didn’t talk about it because I was afraid this would happen,” she said. “I would go on a trip and leave June 30, so I just canceled the trip. Hopefully I will still take it one day.”
