Tia shares why she & Cory divorced
Tia and Cory got married in 2008 and welcomed two children together: Son Cree 2011 and daughter Cairo 2018.
But 2022, The couple shared. While TIA quoted “incompatible differences” as the cause of their division into her DivorceShe later offered insight into when she knew her marriage to Cory was over.
“I knew when I really started focusing on my happiness,” Sister, sister Alum said in a section from November 2022 by Today. “I know as women, we tend to focus on everyone else’s happiness, make sure everyone else is ok-what means that our children, our friends, our family. But at the end of the day it is about self-love. And when you really start working on yourself, love yourself, know that you feel, so it is so sudden.
After being honest with himself about the dissolution of his marriage, Tia also wanted to be in advance with the public.
“I got tired of not being genuine and living in my truth,” she added in Tia Mowry: My Next Act. “I got tired of showing up at events and people thought everything was perfect when it wasn’t.”
