Gavin Maddox Bergman, Derek Hinkey, Toby Huss and Harriet Sansom Harris co -star. “Americana” is a writer/director Tony Tost’s debut. The film was announced in 2022 and originally the title “National Anthem.”
“Americana” is a series of reunions for Sweeney, which is paired with her Fellow “Euphoria” role member Dane once again on the screen. Sweeney would also start in the new adaptation “The Players Table” series together with Halsey at HBO, which was announced in 2020.
“Americana” is a co -production with Rhea Films and Creative Wealth Media, which funded the film with Hercules Film Fund. Alex Saks (“Florida project”, “Red Rocket”) produces. Aaron L. Gilbert, Steven Thibault and Alison-Jane Roney produce for the bridge Studios (“those who wish me dead”, “The Survivor”). Jason Cloth is an executive producer for creative wealth media (“licorice pizza”, “House of Gucci”), with Paris Kassidokostas-Lasis, Terry Dougas and Jean-Luc de Fanti Executive which produces for Rhea films (“Good Time”, “Bruised”). Michael Williams and Suraj Maraboyina also produce executive. Native American Activist Marcus Redthunder (“Longmire”, “Hostiles”) served as a consultant on the film, which was taken on site with support from New Mexico Film Office.
