Supernanny Jo Frost responds to Bachelor star Madison Prewett’s plan to beat daughter (exclusive)
The frost does not agree Madison Prewetts opinions about spanking as a form of child discipline.
In fact, the former Supernanny Star thinks it’s an “outdated practice.”
“It has no advantage for the relationship of the child or parent,” JO told E! News’ Francesca amics. “We have laws where it is a crime to commit serious bodily injury or to meet another adult, and to think that we can only circumvent it with our youngest, most vulnerable citizens? They are people too.”
The 55-year-old continued, “If we will protect every person, we also do it for children because they are citizens of this country.”
And for JO she believes that spanking “shows a lack of control” and “a lack of emotional regulation” on the part of the parent and adds, “Smacking should be banned in this country.”
In recent years, studies have advised against physical punishment for childcipline, including National Library of Medicineresearch on finding spanking “harmful” and “ineffectively.”
But according to Madison and her husband Grantthey plan to beat their 6 -month -old daughter Hosanna When she’s older for a more religious reason.
