Per The Film’s Official Synopsis, “Henry Johnson” is “a drama that Follows the Title Character (Jonigkeit) as He Navigates His Search for a Moral Center, After An Act of Compassion Upends His Life. Looking to Authority (Laber’s Along The Way – Includes —Henry’s Journey Leads Him Down A Road of Manipulation and Ethical Uncertainty. ”
When the paragraph was first mounted in Venice, California’s Electric Lodge in October 2023, praised Labeouf’s work as a plan prisoner in particular, with variation that considers that “Tortured and slightly volatile” and with “a delicious unpredictability.” The new film version was taken less than a week earlier this year.
The film was written and directed by the Mamet, which previously film sets include directing “The Spanish prisons”, “Oleanna”, “House of Games”, “State and Main”, “Heist”, “Spartan”, “The Winslow Boy”, and others, plus his work adapts “Glengarry Glengarry.” For his script work on “Wag the dog” and “The Verdict”, he was nominated twice for Oscars.

The embarked actor and filmmaker is also in the center of “Slauson rec,” A documentary about his “unconventional” teaching style that is still looking for a distributor. Labeouf founded a free theater school at Slauson Rec Center in South Central Los Angeles 2018; The experimental theater company continued until November 2020, just before Labeouf was tuning By his ex-girlfriend FKA branches for sexual battery, abuse and emotional complaints.

The new film was produced by Jonigkeit, who is married to the mother’s daughter Zosia Mamet, and 1993’s Lije Sarki, and executive produced by RGB (Peter Baxter), Marcel Bonn-Miller and Sheldon Stone.
In collaboration with Gathr, the filmmakers will independently release “Henry Johnson” at Aero in Los Angeles on Friday 9 May, with rents that are also available at the same time through the film’s website, Henryjohnsonmovie.com. The film will expand theatrically to large markets throughout May, with additional lists to follow on the site.
