Rupert Grint and Nick Frost’s forgotten comedy series Sick Note is now trending on Netflix.
Originally released on Sky in 2017, Sick Note stars Grint as Daniel Glass, a compulsive liar who is stuck in a failing relationship and a dead-end job.
However, when Daniel is misdiagnosed with terminal oesophageal cancer by oncologist Dr Iain Glennis (Frost), he begins to notice that everyone around him is treating him better than ever and decides to keep up the lie.

Other cast members include Lindsay Lohan, Miami Vice‘s Don Johnson, Gangs of London‘s Pippa Bennett-Warner and Green Wing‘s Karl Theobald.
The series was added to Netflix earlier this week and has been trending in the UK’s Top 10 ever since.
Despite being a hit with viewers on the streaming platform, Sick Note earned mixed reviews from audiences at the time of its release.
Some viewers branded it as “silly” and “disappointing”, while others have said it’s “entertaining”, “hilarious” and “full of delightful performances”.

Grint is next set to star in Hanna Bergholm’s upcoming thriller Nightborn, which wrapped filming in Lithuania late last year (via Screen Daily).
The film will star Seidi Haarla as Saga and Grint as her British husband Jon, who move to an isolated house deep in the Finnish forest with dreams of starting a perfect family.
However, when their baby is born, Saga starts to suspect a disturbing truth about the baby despite reassurances from Jon and those around her.
Meanwhile, Frost’s new movie Get Away, which he wrote, directed and stars in, recently premiered on Sky Cinema.
The film sees Richard (Frost) and Susan (Aisling Bea) take their children Sam (Sebastian Croft) and Jessie (Maisie Ayres) on a family holiday to a remote Swedish island, which they soon discover is inhabited by a serial killer.
