“Twin tops: The return “returns to the screen, and this time it is the big one. IndieWire announces that Metrogent Theater in Lower Manhattan will host a weekend-long marathon from the David Lynch series 2017, as Presented with Mubi.
The two-day marathon will take place July 5 and 6 to mark the 35th anniversary of Lynch and Mark Frost’s original “Twin Peaks.” The Sequel series, also known as “Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series,” debuted at Showtime 2017; It’s one of the late director Lynch’s Final projects.
The “Twin Peaks” composer Dean Hurley will participate in introducing the series at Select Showtimes, and will also participate in a special preview.
“Twin Peaks” premiere first in 1990 at ABC. The second season was broadcast in 1991 before being canceled by the network; It was revived later in 2017 with ”Twin Peaks: Return. “The first two seasons of” Twin Peaks “followed the FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle Maclachlan) when he examines the murder of Homecoming Queen Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) in the TWIN PEAKS border town. In which FBI special agent Dale Cooper shows up where we last left him, now captured for 25 years in Black Lodge, while his psychopathic, strict doppel gangs leave a trace of destruction behind him on our ground level. The real cooper, recently aroused from a coma, which is induced by knitting a fork in an electric socket, his long -lasting memory was restored shortly thereafter, from there to be transported back in time to the night by the murder of Laura Palmer, which brought him to two peaks so many years ago. Cooper prevents the murder and causes a disturbance in the timeline and is eventually located at a restaurant in Odessa, Texas, where he meets a waitress which is the spitting image of palm trees. He thinks she is the missing girl, now in the middle age, he drives her to the Palmer home in Twin Peaks for a happy family reunion, but our incorrect perceval has not found its grail. “What … years is that?”
