Disney has lost the trailer for “Elio“(June 20), PixarFirst Stak at Sci-Fi since the masterful “Wall-E.” Celestial Comedy adventure, from directors Demee IT (“Turning Red”) and Madeline Sharafian (“Burrow” short) and producer Mary Alice Drumm (“Coco”), finds the 11-year-old social malpractice Elio (Yonas Kibreab) possessed by being abducted by foreigners. He gets his wish when he radiates to an interplanetary conference, where he has mistaken for the earth’s leader.

The foreign creatures and phosphoric environments provide an eye -catching animated background for Pixar within the familiar Community format. Elios BFFs include Glordon (Remy Edgerly) and Lord Grigon (Brad Garrett) from the planet Hoppers. The rest of the voice crew contains the best supportive actress Oscar winner Zoe Saldaña (“Emilia Pérez”) as Elio’s aunt Olga, Jamela Jamil as foreign ambassador Questa and Henderson as Alien Oooo.

“Elio” would mark the solo director of Adrian Molina (co-director for “Coco”), who was perceived as a personal story about age about youthful stranger. But when the film met a creative snag mid -production, Chief Creative Officer replaced Pete Docter Molina with Shi and Sharafian, who share equally directing status and has added greater depth to the titular protagonist. Still, Molina still retains her director credit and has been assigned to another function.
