While Pierce Brosnan Family played 007, this is not the most important band in his life.
It would be the one he shares with his family, including his wife Keely Sharing Brosnan.
“I found a big woman in Keely Shaye,” the actor told 72 People 2001. “Not if I applied for a million times would I find an equally good.”
Although Pierce and Keely did not exactly look for love when they met in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, April 8, 1994.
“4-8-94 was my happy day,” recalled the journalist, 61 Instagram 30 years later. “How could I have felt when I walked around the corner and into your life that my fate was about to change forever? Thank my happy stars that I had the courage to introduce myself to you and forever grateful for the connection and the family we share three decades later.”
It was a connection that was formed after tragedy. In December 1991, Pierce’s wife of 14 years, Australian actress Cassandra HarrisDied at the age of 39 after a battle with ovarian cancer. Together the couple had welcomed son Socket41The and Fix Star had adopted his children Charlotte—Vo died at the age of 41 in 2013 after fighting the same disease – and Christopher52, from a previous relationship.
“There is an incredible cruelty in everything,” Pierce told People 1992, “lost a person you shared everything with. This is the first time in my life I have ever experienced sleep, and that is overwhelming.”
