One of the best reviewed films from Cannes is ready for its debut in August.
From author/director Spike LeeThe “Highest 2 lowest” has released its official theater trailer. The film is the fifth collaboration between Lee and Oscar-winning star Denzel Washington. It is, like indiege’s own David Ehrlich Described it, a “scary optimistic” and “Deliriously entertaining” tribute to Akira Kurosawa’s gloom 1963 classic “High and Low.”
A $ AP Rocky-Var’s real name is Rakim Mayers-Medstars, thanks to Lee Scrolling, as we all do, on Instagram. “What is funny is that I looked at Instagram four or five years ago and people said a $ AP looked like he’s Denzel’s son,” Lee told Carmelo Anthony In April. “I saw these memes and then in film We used it. ”
Lee went on to praise Rocky – who also puts a track that teased the trailer for the movie – and said “a $ AP, man, he shoots … I mean, there are some scenes where him and D go to the head – he’s not back up.
