Netflix drops the trailer for Aryan Khan’s Rollick Bollywood series


Who doesn’t love a crucial showbiz satire? Netflix India is ready for “BA *** DS of Bollywood“A series where the new and old blood from the world’s largest film industry encounters spectacularly.

The trailer introduces Aasmaan Singh (Lakshya), a newcomer without industry bands that has quickly become one of its biggest stars – but does not care about that label. There are lots of stars, he says in the trailer, but only an Aasmaan (his name means sky). If something could get this hero crashing down to earth, it’s a budding romance with daughter of Bollywood’s biggest name, Ajay Talwar (Bobby Deol), and all friends and enemies that come with that territory.

“BA *** DS of Bollywood” marks writing and directoring debut by Aryan Khan, who knows one thing or two about the industry’s inner work and grows up with a mega-famous parent as the son of global superstar Shah Rukh Khan (who tells the first lines in the trailer). The series was first announced in November 2024 And according to Netflix, “self-conscious humor mixes with a story with high efforts-and promises a lot of evil komos, blockbuster tension and an unforgettable journey into the world of Indian film.”

“It’s a complete Bollywood entertainment,” said Netflix’s VP of India content Monika Shergill about the series. “Drama is epic, the music is super charged, comedy is self -conscious and refreshing and the characters are greater than life.”

The trailer reveals Komos from Salman Khan, Karan Johar and Ranveer Singh, probably as themselves – who sets a high bar for all unrelated guest stars. Gauri Khan’s red chili entertainment will produce the series. Further role includes Sahher Babbba, Raghav Juyal, Gautami Kapoor, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Manoj Pahwa, Vijayant Kohli and Anya Singh. Aryan Khan himself introduced the teaser a few days before, Starts with another SRK from the movie “Mohabbatein” and then quickly switch to the more irreverent tone of the upcoming series.
