Natasha Lyonne is back in the game to solve mysteries in season 2 of “Poker face. ”
The star-studded, Emmy-award-winning original series returns with Lyonnes Charlie Cale, which handles a new mystery-in-week. Charlie has an extraordinary ability to know without failing when someone is lying, and now for this season, Charlie continues his journey on the road across the country, encounters a new role of characters and investigating crimes along the way.
“Poker Face” has previously received four primetime Emmy nominations, including outstanding principal actress in a comedy series for Lyonne, and got PeaCock his first Emmy victory for Judith Lights outstanding guest actress in a comedy series.
Lyonne is united by a new harvest of celebrity guest stars for season 2, all from “Wicked” actress Cynthia Erivo to comedian John Mulanaey. As synopsis Reads, Season 2 finds Charlie Back on the go with a twist in the 70s.

The duo continued, “To bring season 2 to life, we took visual inspiration from American film in the 70s, everything we love as Robert Altman, Bob Rafelson, Peter Bogdanovich. But the spine of this show is TVThe kind of TV we grew up and watched, episodic cases of weeks like ‘Columbo’ and ‘The Rockford Files’ and ‘Quantum Leap.’ Each episode is a mini movie, found in its own world with a unique tone and vibe, with an eccentric mass of characters played by a real Gonzo parade of guest stars. ”
“Poker Face” is created by Johnson, who also writes, controls and executive produces the Peacock series. Lyonne directs, writes, stars in and executive produces. Tony Tost is Showrunner and executive producer of the show, with Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Adam Arkin, Nora Zuckerman and Lilla Zuckerman also executive producers. “Poker Face” is a T-Street and MRC series, with T-Street and animal pictures that produce.
