Miley said Call your dad Podcast that she frankly was a logical person who was more inclined to stoically analyze what went wrong in a situation than freak out about it. Which, she admitted, not necessarily something you can tell her just by watching.
“I had a very, very public, very large division that was over a ten -year period of a relationship,” she explained. “Sitting with me now, I would hope that you think I am something in this way-which is not the general perception-I am very logical. I am very organized and very type of center. And so, I love lists. Lists keep my entire F-King world on the right track.”

“And so, with heart damage, I didn’t try to get lost in the emotions,” Miley continued. The end of a relationship can be a devastating loss, but “not to get lost in emotions, to focus on logic, is to make a list of what you got and what you lost, what they contributed to your life and what they subtracted and to evaluate each of these things with one to 10, and then you add them all.
“And if the person adds more to your life, you know what is expected for your next relationship and what they subtracted, you know what you won’t accept ever again.”
