Madonna has said that she is “blessed” that her child all has artistic passions.
“Starts from the top with Lola, who was not just an incredible ballet dancer and a rhythmic gymnast, switched to musical theater and contemporary dance,” she told Fan blog Madonna infinity. “Now she is a unique singer and songwriter in her own right. When I go on tour, nothing more happiness gives you to know, we all work with the same show and create the magic together.”
“Of course,” she added, “I am also their mother so sometimes we come to each other’s nerves. We are a family of artists but are also a family and that is what happens.”
To Madonna it was “perfect meaning” to include all children who still live under her roof in her retrospective celebration tour.
“David has been playing guitar since he was a child,” she explained. “Mercy has been playing piano since she was 8 and has been classically educated most of her life. Eventually, when I adopted the twins, they started playing piano and dancing as well …. and then we add the deejaying that Estere showed a great interest in learning.”
Stella was the shyest, Madonna noted, but she “comes alive on stage.” The child is also “an incredibly fine artist”, she added, “and I hope she follows Rocco footsteps, which after being a B-boy, skater and graffiti artist has really come to her own as an incredible painter.”
