Wear! What inspired you to share your acne trip so publicly, and how has that experience shaped your connection to your audience and how to approach skin care?

LR: I started talking about my acne experience when I was 18 and got attention for the first time after being on a TV show. I felt that I was the only actress around who traded with cystic and hormonal acne, and I started posting it on my Instagram stories to feel less alone. It was not necessarily a cry for help, but my search for a community of people who had to do with a similar issue. And after that, I found that there were so many young men and women who felt the same shame as I did about acne, and it really encouraged me to continue talking about it. I have such a passion for skin care – everyone who has been in my life for a long time knows that – and creating a skin care line really was not random.
