King Charles III Shares insight into its cancer trip.
During a reception of April 29 for cancer support organizations in Buckingham Palace, the monarch gave a rare insight into its own diagnosis and treatment in a written notice To their guests, while praising how they “so selflessly provide care, comfort and assurance” to those who fight cancer.
“Every diagnosis, every new case, will be a scary and sometimes frightening experience for these individuals and their loved ones,” Charles, who gathered the reception with wife Queen Camilla and Birgitte, Duchess of GloucesterWrote in the brochure. “But as one of that statistics myself, I can guarantee that it can also be an experience that gives a sharp focus the very best of humanity.”

“It has really given me an even deeper appreciation of the extraordinary work done by the remarkable organizations and individuals gathered here tonight, of which many I have known, visited and supported over the years,” Charles continued. “And it has strengthened what I have long observed during these visits – that the darkest moments of illness can be highlighted by the greatest compassion.”
