Kaity Bigar and Zach Shallcross have changed their roses for wedding rings.
The couple, who met and engaged in Thailand during Season 23 finals of Bachelor 2023 band tied during a private ceremony in Texas.
“We got married on May 23,” said Kaity, 30, in the section 11 Bachelor Happy Hour Podcast. “We just liked a cute little chapel celebration with our closest loved ones.”
Among the loved ones who helped to mark the milestone were Zach’s parents and two younger sisters, as were Kaity’s mother, aunt and brother.
“We kept it very intimate,” emphasized Zach, 28, “very private.”
While Bachelor Alums originally planned to have a larger wedding, in the end, after touring arenas and considering the investments involved, Kaity realized that her vision had changed.
“I just took a step back, and I was like,” I don’t know if we need this, “she explained.” The whole point of a wedding is just to keep faith in the love and connection of us both, and I felt that I attached too much to small details, “oh, my mother would like this, but these people would like it.
