Ari AsterS “Eddington“Creating already buzzing, weeks before its Cannes premiere. Aster is reunited with its “Beau is scared” star Joaquin Phoenix for the secret dark comedy. Emma Stone, Austin Butler, Luke Grimes, Deirdre O’Connell, Micheal Ward, Clipon Collins Jr., William Belleau, Camer Mann, Matt Gomez Hidaka and Amélie Hoeferle also play in Aster’s fourth function. The film’s official Logline reads: “In May 2020, a distance between a small -town period (Phoenix) and mayor (Pascal) sparkles a powder pot when the neighbor is pussy against neighbor in Eddington, New Mexico.”

He added, “Ari and I have been friends a bit, and it was amazing to see him on sets. He is such an incredible filmmaker, and he has such confidence and such humor and wild fantasy. I really loved to work with him.”
Butler has other author vehicles on the horizon after “Eddington”, including Darren Aronofsky’s “Capting Stealing” and Luca Guadagninos announced “American Psycho.”
