Jeff – whose parents divorced when he was a child – said that the list of his loved ones “never stopped growing” for the rest of his life.
“She always gave so much more than she ever asked for,” he continued, “after a long fight with Lewy Body Dementia, she passed away today, surrounded by so many of us who loved her – her child, grandchild. I know she felt our love in the last moments. We were all so lucky to be in her life.
After her split with Ted, Jackie continued to marry her husband Miguel “Mike” Bezos And welcome children Highlight and ChristinaWith her role as a mother who inspires her charity work.
“Jackie’s experiences as a mother and student shaped some of the most important work of her life,” the foundation wrote. “Jackie’s desire to help improve the lives of others who stretched far beyond the foundation and included large -scale charity projects focused on medical research and community health care.”
And of course she put everything she had in her family – including making “countless trips to Radio Shack” for the possible CEO.
“Jackie’s life of service was only second to her passion for family and collection,” the post continued. “As a grandmother, Jackie found a huge joy when she looked at her family growing. She handed not only traditions and stories, but also her values – nature, resilience and the importance of affiliation.”
