Jared Leto continues to be a franchise baddy. After playing as Antihero Morbius in the MCU, plus playing the controversial Wework founder, the actor now goes in the “faith” digital universe as the titular villain “Faith: ares. ”
Joachim Rønning (“The Young Woman and the Sea”) leads the third franchise filmwhich is written by Jesse Wigutow and Jack Thorne (“Youth”). Original Lead Jeff Bridges Returns, with Evan Peters, Jodie Turner-Smith, Greta Lee, Arturo Castro, Hasan Minhaj, Cameron Monaghan and Gillian Anderson together with the lead role. Official synopsis Reads: “‘Tron: Ares’ follows a very sophisticated program, Ares, which is sent from the digital world to the real world on a dangerous mission and marks humanity’s first meeting with AI creatures.”
The sci-fi franchise began in 1982 with Bridges who played a video play programmer who is trapped in the digital world. The sequel “Faith: Legacy” was released in 2010 with Garret Hedlund who played Bridges’ son on the screen; Joseph Kosinski directed.
For the third film told director Rønning Empire that he looks at the process of making “faith: ares” as “”Holy Gral“Especially when the famous grid became even more decisive for the action. Rønning added that” faith “will” raise “the world and take it” to the next level “, especially because of the movement -controlled camera movements on the grid. “Tron: Ares” has a point by Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. The Grammy winning band dropped the Soundtrack album’s first single, “Ari Alive as you need me to be”, with the trailer. This is the first official music from the band in five years. (They have recently received Luca Guadagnino’s “challenger”, “Queer” and “after the hunt”). “Tron: Ares (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)” will be released on September 19 via Interscope Records.
“Tron: Ares” is produced by Leto, Sean Bailey, Jeffrey Silver, Justin Springer, Emma Ludbrook and Steven Lisberger, with Russell Allen as executive producer.
