Chad Michael Murray, a tree heel?
Before he played in One Tree HillThe Chad Michael Murray had a bow on Dawson’s Creek Play Charlie, a love interest for Jen and Joey.
But while Charlie came around, Murray did not seem to make many friends during his first stint in North Carolinav (OTH later filmed there).
During a Paley panel in 2009, Philipps called him “a douche”, later and said, “Don’t worry. I’m not really worried about burning bridges with CMM.”
Van der Beek added, “he has actually come a long way.” After the incident, Philipps tweeted, “Just finished Dawson’s Creek panel. Maybe I was too hard on Chadm2 … Nah.”
Murray has in the meantime not moved the pot and said in 2015 that he learned much from the experience.
“I had the opportunity to learn from people who had done it for a couple of years longer than I was when I went into Dawson’s Role, “he said Cosmpolitan.com 2015. “You know, Michelle and James and Katie and Josh – they really guided me, because they had already existed for five, six years, maybe longer. And if they had time they showed me the ropes. I had no idea what lighting was, I had no idea many technical aspects of what we do, and so I am grateful for that experience.”
