I love the Fear Street Trilogy Easter Egg in Netflix New Prom Queen Trailer, but it raises an important concern that I have

As a child in the era there Fear Street Books were as widespread as Calvin & Hobbes Collections at the Book Fair, when he saw Netflix release his 2021 trilogy of scary adjustments, made my dark heart melt. Goes in 2025 film schedulethat flame reigned when Fear Street: Prom Queen’s announcement promised a new post for a May debut.

So after finally seeing the trailer, I think the latest Slasher -Throwbacken looks to die for; While worried about how the series could potentially advance. And no, I’m not talking about how according to that time stamp on the trailer this prom would be held on a very Manic Monday.

Fear Street: Prom Queen’s Easter Egg invokes the Spirit of Fear Street: Part 2 – 1978

Oooh baby, me do know what it is worth having another Fear Street Girl on earth. Director/co -author Matt Palmer looks to have designed a worthy follow -up of Leigh Janiak’s previous Fear Street trilogy, Full of your suitable fashion and needles. But of course this is Shadows We are dealing with; And the historical curse that holds the city in its grip is still much in force.

It leads to a moment that both satisfied and touched me, because we see a quick glimpse of the camp Nightwing wall painting as you see the picture above. While we know what Fear Street: Part 2 – 1978’s final Significant to overall history, to see the effect that these events have on the city’s youth for a decade really sounds like a fun idea. But this piece of continuity makes me think about the future – which gives me a very specific ax to grind.
