Almost 30 years later and finally we may actually know what happened that summer …
Franchise -An start of “I know what you did last summer” mixes a modern crime (and vengeful serial killers) with events from the original film from 1997, including stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. Repessing their roles.
“I know what you did last summer” centers on five friends, played by “Outer Banks” -Breakout Madelyn Cline“The Little Mermaid” actor Jonah Hauer -King, “Him” star Tyriq Withers“Studio” star Chase Sui wonders and “The Wilds” crime Sarah Pidgeon. The group is haunted by the victim for a drunken driving accident, so they turn to Hewitt and the Prince’s characters from the first film For help as they also, try to survive the murderous fisherman who has persecuted all the franchise films.
The Official Synopsis Reads: “When Five Friends Inadvertently Cause a Deadly Car Accident, they cover up their Involvement and make a Pact to keep it a secret Rather than face the consequences. A year: The past comes back to haunt. Someone Knows what they did Last Summer… and is Hell -Bent on Revenge. As one by one the Friends are stalked by a killer, they discover this has happened before, and they turn to two survivor of the legendary south port 1997 for help.
Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Billy Campbell, Gabbiette, Austin Nichols and Lola heavy co -star. “Do Revenge” filmmaker Jennifer Kaytin Robinson directs the film with a script of Leah McKendrickSam Lansky and Robinson. Former franchise star Sarah Michelle Gellar (not in this movie, because her character previously died) and “I know what you did last summer” director Robinson Collaborated on “DO Revenge.”
Robinson tease with people That “I still know what you were doing last summer” follower Star Brandy Norwood could show up in the movie 2025; Robinson also told us Collids that this part will be “much more brutal” than its predecessors.
The original “I know what you were doing last summer” was based on Lois Duncan’s 1973 book. Hewitt, Prinze, Gellar and Ryan Phillippe played the lead role as the core group of friends involved in a hit-and-run accident that throws his victim’s body, just to be chased a year later by a hostel as a host a year later Jim Gillespie directed the film from a script by “Scream” writer Kevin Williamson.
“I know what you did last summer” opens July 18 in theaters from Sony Pictures. Check out the trailer below.
