As huge as these stars are, their fame never jeopardizes the integrity of Apple TV+ Original, which received 23 Emmy nominations. The balancing document is largely thanks to Rogen and Goldberg, who paid several benefits to realize their guest star’s wish list, as well as Emmy-nominated casting directors Melissa Kostenbuder and Francine Maisler.
“We never just threw celebrities for the celebrity’s sake,” dietary bodies told Thewrap. “(Every role) was made for them.”
Maisler was responsible for throwing the pilot in “The Studio”, which includes Scorsese, Cranston, Theron and more. But when production resumed after the WGA and Sag-Aftra strike, she was not available, so Kostenbauder took over the rest of the season.
