“This is such an honor,” wrote Ashley, who is looking for outstanding actors in a limited series, in a statement. “This nomination means the world to me – not as recognition, but as a reminder of how far I have come. It is for everyone who stood by me through the heights and flames, who believed in me when I needed it most.”
In fact, Ashley could not believe how far he has come to this honor.
“It is proof of the power of endurance,” he continued. “Dreams are important – but it is the hard work, the rear, growth and texture that makes them real. Five years ago this felt out of reach. Today I am extremely proud – not just for myself, but standing beside a group of artists that I admire deeply. What we did together is something I will carry with me forever.
