One of the liveliest screenwriters in 2024 is now to give back to the indie -film production society. Indieview can notify that “Challengers” and “Queer” printer Justin Kuritzkes are among the mentors of the coveted annual Hampton movie Screenwriter Lab.
The acclaimed incubator program is hosted by the organization that runs Hamptons International Film Festival. It is the 25th anniversary of Screenwriters Lab, which will take place 4 to 6 April.

Hamptonsfilm will also present Pepi Ginsberg’s “The Mirex” with Melissa Mathison Award 2025. The prize was founded in 2016 and was named after the late, loved Oscar-nominated screenwriter and strives to promote the continued development of female writers in the industry. Previous recipients include Sarah Mokh’s “Diary of a Muslim Cynic,” Shehrezad Maher’s “Theory of Colors,” Farida Zahran’s “The Leftover Ladies,” Lana Wilson’s “Back Seat,” The The Kelly Scott’s “A” muse, “mouse” kirsten tan’s tan’s tan’s tan’s.
