After 20 years and 17 seasons it is difficult to imagine a world where “it is always sunny in Philadelphia” is not on television, but there was a point where a member of its reliable ensemble – consisting of Charlie Day, is Glenn HowertonRob Mcelhenney (Alias Rob Mac), Kaitlin Olson, And Danny Devito – Almost bent. At the Paleylive 20th anniversary (Paleylive (Through people), Howerton revealed that before the beginning of season 12, which was sent on FXX In 2017 he told the creative team, “Look, I just don’t want to worn our welcome.”
“I was worried that we might have a kind of top or something, and I was just like, you know, we have been doing this for a long time. And I think I was worried too,” Howerton said. “I had not yet figured out how I would stretch and be able to do other things that I wanted to do with my career outside the show … I just hadn’t figured out how I would do it yet. I was real to do other things, and so I started to feel a little boxed, frankly said.”
The cast was insistent and said they did not want the show to end. He simply said, “Oh, I can’t stop you.” “And then seasons 13 and 14, I came back as an actor but I was not in the author’s room.”
Howerton had made performances in many other series, including “The Mindy Project” and “Fargo”, but after he “figured out how to do it” – which means juggling further projects – he would take on such substantial assignments as Sitcom “AP Bio” and movies such as “the Hunt” and “Blackberries.” Meanwhile, “It’s Always Sunny” continued, and so he did.
“(They) just continued to write it and continued to write him,” said Mcelhenney, the official creator of the show. “And we’re like, he’ll just eventually say he’s coming back. That’s what happened.”
“It’s Always Sunny” will release its first two episodes of its 17th season, which will contain eight episodes, July 9. Its season premiere will include it very long -awaited second part of one Crossover event With colleague Philadelphia-set sitcom “Abbott Elementary.” A section of that series of guest performances from all over the “Sunny” cast was broadcast on ABC in January.
