When I heard it George Clooney and Adam Sandler Would be in a drama together, my ears went up. This expectation has only grown after seeing the teaser for their 2025 movie Jay KellyWhich will be on their way to theaters and Netflix this fall. But after seeing these pictures, I have another reason to be excited, because a revered co -star in their stole the show.
All that was required were three words, which gave the closing laughter for this first look at director Noah Baumbach’s latest. Or rather, it only took the Oscar Award winner Laura Dern To say these words, on a perfect dead pan, to send me out on a laugh that could carry me until November 14. The simple grouping of words?
Do not touch people.
Trust me, in conjunction with the trailer above, it is absolutely meaning. Although even in context, simply knowing that Dern says this to George Clooney’s character can still make you laugh. Especially when Adam Sandler stands over the other axis on Jay Kelly’s Titular actor in the crisis, plays the straight man as a master.
Jay Kelly Will debut in selected theaters on November 14, with its Netflix streaming debut set for December 5.
