“Unfortunately I was not invited to the party,” Mark said in an interview with Amount Published August 15. “I raised my hand and said that I would like to be involved in some way, even in a kind of goddess or executive producer. But I was not extended an invitation.”
But Mean Girls The director went on to admit that he “never developed” his own idea for a second part and was still happy when he found out that the comedy follow -up, which met theaters on August 8, would be taken on without him.
“I support a lot that they make a fantastic new movie,” he explained about the sequel, which was directed by Nisha Ganatra. “It would have been nice to be involved but now that I’m not, I’m in some way to myself.”
