President Donald Trump Praise tribute.
The 79-year-old talked about Charlie KirkHours of death after the conservative activist was deadly killed at a speaking event at Utah Valley University. He was 31.
“I am filled with sadness and anger at the abominable murder of Charlie Kirk at a college campus in Utah,” he said in a Video messaging September 10. “Charlie inspired millions and tonight everyone who knew him and loved him united in shock and horror.”
Trump went on to highlight Kirk’s impact and passion for debate.
“His mission was to bring young people into the political process he did better than anyone else,” politicians continued. “He advocated his ideas with courage, logic, humor and grace. It is a long time for all Americans and the media to confront the fact that violence and murder is the tragic consequence of demonizing those that you do not agree with day after day, year after year, in the most hateful and contemptible way possible.”
Trump shared, “This is a dark moment for America.”
