Darren Aronofsky produces cavedok


Darren Aronofsky can prepare to debut his Buzzy crime novel adaptation “Caught steal” with Austin Butler, but AUTEUR has also produced another film Based on a book coming soon: Documentary ”Wonderland. “The movie, which is coming Premiere at Tribeca 2025Provides author Robert Macfarlane’s nature book with the same name to the large screen.

“Wonderland” is invoiced as a “movie documentary traveling to worlds that are rarely seen by human eyes,” mostly with underground geological phenomena. Sandra Hüller tells the documentary, which is directed by Robert Petit. The function is from production company Sandbox Films, Protozo Pictures, Planet Octopus Studios and Spring Films.

“When I read Macfarlane’s book, I went to how he told all these specific individual stories but brought a deeper mythological level to Wonderland,” producer Aronofsky told IndieWire. “Rob Petit tells different stories and works in cinema not text, but pulls off the same trick to mix the myth with character. It is a doctor with a unique voice, Unlike all I have ever seen. ”

Petit added, “As a text, MacFarlane’s” Wonderland “has an inherent tension: It is a journey that leaves behind the world we know and ventures into the strange and unknown. This very special book shines a light not only in forgotten worlds but in a whole new way of seeing and I wanted to do something that drove with that idea. Underworld science laboratory built to solve the mysteries of the universe in each of these worlds that we met the most incredible people – explorers and researchers decided to find wondering in the most unlikely places. “

Author Macfarlane, whose new book “Is a river alive?” Just reached number 9 on the New York Times Bestseller list, quoted how long the documentary has been in the works. “Wonderland” is produced by Aronofsky, Ari Handel, Lauren Greenwood and Jessica Harrop, with Macfarlane, André Singer, Figs Jackman, Craig Miller, Elizabeth Radshaw, Richard Wolfe and Keith Potter Executive Producing. Ruben Woodin Dechamps is the head of photography.
