Sarah Michelle Gellar reveals if she is returning for “I know what you did last summer” Restart
Sarah Michelle Gellar is back to kill another day.
More than 20 years after Buffy the Vampire Slayer Finished his driving, the actress is in final negotiations to surprise his iconic role as Buffy Summers in a resuscitation of the hit series about Hulu, E! News confirms.
The new TV series – which does not yet have a name – is announced as “next chapter in Buffyverse” from 20th TV and Searchlight TV.
The first episode of the Sequel series will be directed by the Oscar winner Chloe Zhaowhile the original Buffy Creator Joss Whedon will reportedly not be involved in the project after Accusations of misunderstanding It shows up in 2021, per stores. (Whedon rejected E! News’ Request for comment at that time.)

One day before the news broke, Sarah, 47, apparently suggested on the restart without saying much at all. In a reference to the teenage drama, which was broadcast from 1997 to 2003, she published a photo on Instagram February 2, which wears a pair of “Yummy sushi pajamas” identical to those she wore in a season four episodes of the series and formed the image with nothing but a sushi -emoji.
