“1923“Star Brandon skins may not be done with “Yellowstone” Prequel series after all. “Give me some gout, a little sigh and some salt and pepper,” he said. “I bring up the voice a bit. If it comes around I would love to do it. I would really do it. I definitely don’t want to say goodbye to Spencer. I love that guy.”
Still being revealed in “1944” is about the original protagonist of the series, Kevin Costner’s John Dutton IIIwas, in fact, the granddaughter of Spencer or related in some other way. “1923” suggested that this be the case, such as Spencer’s wife, Alex, gave birth to a son, John Dutton II, before leaving at the end of the series. Sklenar is not sure if John Dutton II is the father of Costner’s character, but one can assume that this is the case.
“No bets, but I’ve always had a feeling of where it went. It still has not been fully confirmed by anyone who knows if my suspicions are correct,” Sklenar said. “One would assume what it is at the end of the final, but it still has not been confirmed. There have definitely been many internal debates over the years about who is who and what is what, but we still do not really know. It has not been completely spelled.”
Although Sklenar would be interested in exploring that part of his character’s potential story, he does not support any conversation, but instead embraces the end of what was really a single trip for him. In addition, he still evaluates everything he went through to bring this role to life.
“It was extremely emotionally for several reasons. I closed the book about that chapter in my life and then I processed the last three years and the effect it had on me. It was emotionally, but not necessarily boring,” Sklenar said. “There is a lot of energy that moves through you when you culminate something so important in your life. And then when thank you what Spencers handles in the story and loss and regret. It is very painful that he will never get the amount of love he has.”
