Like all real binge-watches of classic TV know-and I guess TVClassic period is now simply defined as a flow consequences occurred once regularly. Continuity, especially in episodic television, was not so important – especially the retaling helped to facilitate a good guest place or a new common one when a show goes south.
“The Golden Girls” is probably one of the worst perpetrators for the TV level. Think about this: Dorothy and town had to get married directly from high school because Dorothy got pregnant with her daughter Kate, who seems to be 30-ish when we meet her in a section in 1985. But Dorothy and Stan have been separated for several years and married for 38 years. Makes math work.

But how did she release all these children and then become an empty Nester when the show started in 1985 … and has still caused an assumed Ruckus as a lone woman at the 1964 Democratic Convention just 21 years before?
But we can’t just choose our favorite Miami ladies. There are also “Family issues,” Who stole one page from the “Happy Days” game book and erased a child from the family after several seasons (Judy and Chuck, respectively). It is also extremely unclear when Tom and Lynette moved to Wisteria Lane in “Desperate housewives.” Why did Topanga’s parents continue on reworking “Boy meets the world?” The timeline “That 70’s Show” has no sense. And on dad the subject, Dr. Frasier Crane’s Father was dead on “cheer” and very clearly alive on “Frasier.”
