‘A Thousand Blows’ Costume Design: Victorian Atudes and Ambitions

So I was very happy to find a very antique Chinese blanket made of lots of layers of cotton assembly so it’s really thick and keeps him warm. We made one of his jackets from it. ”

Periodic accuracy can be more or less important depending on the type of world a series wants to build. “Bridgerton” is a fantasy about rebellious colors and patterns that would make the actual aristocracy in Georgian times. “There is a nice balance between the reality of pictures, the photographs we have, paintings and drawings, but what do we take from it to make the show unique? “The corset made Erin go that way because it is very difficult to go in a corset really fast, and she really got into it and exaggerated something. It’s amazing how she did it, ”Meschede said. “(The work is) Not only I create these characters, it is a meeting with these wonderful actors to talk about how they feel it so I help them with their performance so that the suit does not work against them.
