A Mor-Dotter trip to honor a late father and husband quickly turns into an “Eat, Pray, Love” scenario thanks to a handsome travel guide in Lilian T. “Honeyjoon” who got the AT&T Untold Stories Award ran the feature to quickly track their shoot: AT&T Untold Stories females are the largest film production award in the world and gives the world’s highest annual financial award a single filmmaker at each film festival. Mehrel told Indiewire that Tribeca AT&T Untold Stories team supported the “Honeyjoon” production with “Most friendly, caring, brilliant mentors” Bryce Norbitz and Michelle Hamada, who offered feedback from the plan for the film and even organized test shows. “I felt a complete creative freedom and confidence in my director’s vision,” Mehrel said, leaving that she is still in contact with her colleague Tribeca AT&T Untold Stories Award winners. “Each director has his own distinct voice for which they were chosen, but we are all linked to this life -changing award.
