Alicia Silverstone is intended to repeat his role as Cher Horowitz in a sequel -TV series for the classic film from 1995, E! News has learned.
The 48-year-old is also set to produce the series alongside Jordan Weiss and Gossip girl Creator Josh Schwartz and Stephanie SavageWhich will also act as a writer. Amy Heckerlingwho wrote and directed 90’s filmwill also produce the follow -up series along with one of the original film’s producers Robert Lawrence.
And while the action of the upcoming show has not yet been revealed, the series has already found a home on the streaming platform’s peacock.
Wear! News has reached Alicia’s rep for comments but has not heard.
This is not the first time a Unclear Reboot has been moved around Hollywood. By 2020, a separate Spinoff series was under development with CBS Studios, which will also produce the upcoming show. In that iteration, Dionne (originally played by Stacey Dash) was set to look for Cher, which had disappeared. The following year, however, mystery comedy was scrapped.
