Cate Blanchett Maybe look to diversify their career away from the screen. The acclaimed actress/producer told Radio times That she is considering “giving up actors”, but there is no timeline yet for a possible outcome.
“My family rolls my eyes every time I say it, but I mean it: I look serious about giving up spectacle,” Blanchett said. “(There are) a lot of things I want to do with my life.”

Blanchett won the best actress Oscar 2005 for “The Aviator” and best actress 2014 for “Blue Jasmine.” She was also nominated for six other Oscars. The productive star recently led Guy Maddin’s “Rumors”, Alfonso Cuarón’s series “Frisvrön”, Eli Roth’s “Borderlands” and Steven Soderbergh’s “Black Bag.” Blanchett will next show up in Jim Jarmusch’s “father, mother, sister, brother.”
Blanchett, through her dirty movies Banner, too launched proof of the concept With Netflix and USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative 2023. The proof of the concept is a program that provides female, trans- and non-binary filmmakers $ 50,000 for features or TV series.
In addition to acting and producing, Blanchett must also weather as a celebrity. She told the Radio Times that during her years she has not escaped “the feeling of being uncomfortable” in the limelight.
“When you go to a talk show, or even here now, and then you see sound pieces of things you have said, pulled out and italics, they sound really loud. I’m not that person,” said Blanchett. “I’m more sensible in motion – It has been a long time to be comfortable at a distance with the idea of being photographed. ”
Blanchett added, “I have always felt that I am on the periphery of things, so I am always surprised when I hear somewhere. I go with curiosity in what environment I am in, and do not expect to be accepted or welcome. I have spent a lifetime on being comfortable with the feeling of being uncomfortable.”
Blanchett said on under Matt Rogers and Bowen Yangs ”Bodybuilders“Podcast earlier this year that she prefers to go back to the day” when prices show that they were not sent to the public.
“Take it back and just have a fantastic party where people can only let go. I mean, the industry is so spread and at such a point … which I think can be potentially exciting or really can be depressing, but it is at a pivot point, and then we have to gather and celebrate what it is as we do, but it would be so nice.
