Jennifer Lopez will return as host for the 2025 American Music Awards, which will be broadcast on Monday, May 26 at CBS.
The global superstar will give the show for the second time after her first Stint 2015. She will also get to the stage for a surely unforgettable performance. The show will be broadcast live from Las Vegas on Memorial Day on CBS and stream on Paramount+.
“We are pleased to welcome Jennifer Lopez back to host the American Music Awards,” said Jay Penske, CEO of Dick Clark Productions, in a statement on Wednesday. “Jennifer incredible talents and incomparable scene presence makes her the ideal values for the show. We know she will bring her a one-of-a-Kind energy to the official kick-off celebration of summer.”
Lopez first announced his role as host the 51st AMA last fall at the “American Music Awards 50th anniversary special”, which was also broadcast on CBS. The singer is not a stranger to the AMAS scene, after performing at the price exhibition 10 times. Her upcoming performance will show “her unmatched artistry and signature mix of music, dance and visual spectacle.”
The singer/actress has sold over 80 million records and has collected 15 billion global streams and 18 billion music videos. She has won three American Music Awards and has become the only female artist who has a No 1 album and no 1 film at the same time.
AMAs created by the legendary producer and the visionary Dick Clark and first assigned to 1974 and are known to deliver half a century of iconic conceptions and lasting moments that have defined and shaped pop culture, as well as a history of introducing audience to breakthrough arts.
