“The Repetition” returns for its second season three years after the series debuted in 2022. Season 2 was tease 2024 as part of the HBO slate for this year. The second season of the six episode continues the Creator/Star Fielder’s quest to help others in milestone moments. The series “Follows a man’s journey to reduce the uncertainty in everyday life. With a construction herd, a legion of actors and seemingly unlimited resources, Fielder helps ordinary people prepare for life’s biggest moments by” repeating “them in carefully designed simulations of their own design”, as the description reads. “During season two, the urgency in Fielder’s Project grows when he decides to put his resources against a question that affects us all.”
Indieview Previously, Season 1 is considered “The Repetitions” as the “best show 2022.” Critic Ben Travers called the series “A Grand HBO experiment” that achieved “The next level entertainment”, with Fielders “Search for answers that keeps the first season together, and the resolution he comes to that makes this” complex emotional experience “so rewarding.” Fielder was Celebrated by IndieWire 2023 at the Indieview Award For the Co-Creating Showtime series “The Curse” with Benny Safdie.
