2025 SXSW Film & The TV festival has revealed its sought after winners of audience prize.
After indieview announced The festival’s jury AwardsWith Amy Wang’s “Slanted” which takes the Top Narrative Feature Award, the Audience Awards have overall. “The auditor 2“In the lead role Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal have Won the Headliner sectionwith “Fantasy Life” who gets the vote of the story. (Amanda Peet also won the previous Special Jury Award for her performance in “Fantasy Life.”)
Jay Duplass’ “The Baltimorons” received the audience award for the Narrative Spotlight section. Documentaries “Remaining natives” and “Luv Ya, Bum!” was also recognized in the documentary function competition and documentary Spotlight categories respectively. Rodney Ascher’s “Ghost Boy” Also be a winner in the visions category.
Winners of the Audience Prize were certified by Maxwell Locke & Ritter LLP.
“Our deepest thank you to the filmmakers, the audience and volunteers who made this year’s SXSW Film & TV Festival exceptionally,” said Claudette Godfrey, VP Film & TV. “We gathered another star program that puts independently told, documentaries, TV series and XR experiences on the same stage as studio films and TV programs. The magic of shared viewing experiences and a sense of society continued to define our festival, and we are pleased that all this year’s projects would reach even wider audience in addition to SXSW! ”
SXSW Film & TV Festival presented 114 features including 93 World Premieres, 3 International Premieres, 3 North American Premieres, 4 US Premieres, 11 Texas Premieres + 57 short films and 19 music videos. The TV program contains 17 TV projects, with 6 TV premieres, 4 TV spotlight and 7 independent TV pilots. There are 31 projects in the XR Experience program, including 15 in XR Experience competition and 16 in XR Experience Spotlight.
