Jon Hamm Coming down and dirty for its new white collar crime drama “Your Friends & Neighbors.”
“Mad Men” icon is recording and the executive produces the apple TV+ series, which has already been renewed for a second season. Hamm plays ex-financier Coop, who steals from his neighbors in a “Keeping up with the Jones” attempt to fit in. Yet he soon discovers a spiral of secrets in his suburb …
The official synopsis reads: “After being fired in shame, Andrew ‘Coop’ Cooper (Hamm), a hedge fund manager who is still struggling with his latest divorce, resorts to steal from his neighbors’ home in the overall well -being Westmont village, just to discover that the secrets and the business that are dull and business that are dulls and the business that are dull.
Amanda Peet (who just talked to indieview), Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Gravitt and Donovan Colan as well. The best -selling author Jonathan Trupper is the creator, showrunner, executive producer and director, with Craig Gillespie who helped the first two episodes. The first season extends a total of nine episodes. “Me, Tonya” director Gillespie also produces with Connie Tavel. Another episode is directed by Stephanie Laing, Greg Yaitanes and Troops, which has an overall deal with Apple TV+.
Tropper is too Cooperation Apple TV+ series “Lucky,” Like stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Drew Starley. “Silo” film creator Cassie Dad is Co -Showrunner with “See” director Troops, who writes and the executive produces. Reese Witherspoons Hello Sunshine Banner will also produce together with Taylor-Joy. “Lucky” is based on Marissa Stapley’s New York Times-Bestelling novel about a young woman who leaves behind her life for crime she was raised years ago, but now has to embrace her darker, criminal side one last time in a desperate attempt to escape her past. This is Taylor-Joy’s first big TV role since “Queen’s Gambit”, which drove her to the star.
“Your Friends & Neighbors” is an Apple Studios and Tropper Ink series.
