After playing in two of the liveliest series 2025, Adam Scott and Michelle Monaghan are both cooperating for Netflix film “The whisper man“Told an individual with knowledge of the project IndieWire.
Scott, who Leads Emmy-winning series “Severrance,” will start as a widow crime writer working with his alien father, a retired police detective (Robert De Niro), to find his abducted 8-year-old son. The duo soon realizes that the case has a connection to a decades old murder committed by a convicted serial killer known as “The Whisper Man.” The film is based on Alex North’s New York Times best -selling novel.
Monaghan is set to an unclear role. She is currently displayed in “The white lotus“Season 3.
The “Viskman” was first reported With De Niro starring in February 2025. James Ashcroft (“The Rule of Jenny Pen”, “” Coming Home in the Dark “) will direct the movie with Ben Jacoby (” The First Ole “) and Chase Palmer (” IT “) that adapts the script.
Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Outstot and Michael Disco will produce for Agbo. Kassee Whiting Will Executive Produce for Agbo together with Marcus Viscidi. The production will start this spring on the east coast.
“The Whisper Man” is Agbo’s sixth movie with Netflix. Together with HIT features “The Gray Man”, “Extraction” and “Extraction 2”, the banner is also behind Streamer’s upcoming film “Electric State ”with Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt. “The Electric State” premieres on March 14 on Netflix.

De Niro stars in one of Netflix’s latest series “Zero Day”, and he previously played in Martin Scorsese’s crime sepic “The Irishman.”
De Niro is represented by CAA, with Monaghan represented by Gersh and anonymous content, and Scott represented by UTA and RISE Management.
