D’Pharaoh woon-a-tai, Abby Quinn, Pardis Saremi, Rosebud Baker and Adam Pally plays too. Hechinger, Wolfhard and Bryk all produce the feature, along with Jason Bateman, Michael Costigan and Jay van Hoy. The film ended after production in 2023 before it landed on neon for distribution.

Wolfhard told me earlier Entertainment Weekly that at the age of 20 he was met by skepticism from financiers over his ability to direct an element.

“That’s what everyone said when we tried to get money for this movie,” Wolfhard said. “They are like”You are a little young to direct a movie. ‘ I’m like “yeah.”

He added, “My God, they gave money to two children to make a crazy (movie).” Not to detract from it, I am incredibly proud of it, but it was a Crazy thing. Wolfhard will also redo his role for the fifth and last season of “Stranger Things”, which will debut later this year. “Stranger Things” was first broadcast in July 2016, with the show that extended over four years in the city of Hawkins.
