Even if 2025 film schedule Is in its last stretch, there are still lots of promising editions set for the big screen in the coming weeks and months. In your dreamsThe Netflix’s upcoming original film If a sister and brother who goes on a fantastic journey to keep their family together is honestly one that I look forward to the most. And while the new In your dreams Trailer is out of this world, I’m more excited for what’s coming …
A few months later Release the first taste of Upcoming children’s filmNetflix released a more extended look that centered on siblings Stevie and Elliot as they travel into a world of dreams to find Sandman in the hope of saving his parents’ marriage. But as wonderful as the trailer is with its dream worlds full of talkative breakfast food, nightmare land with a revenge of Whack-a-Mole game and a mysterious villain known as Nightmara, I have a feeling that this movie will have so much more to offer when it becomes available with a Netflix subscription.
In your dreams will be an amazing and very emotional ride
Back in July, Netflix invited me to participate in a special press day even for In your dreams. There I could take a deep dive into the production, meeting director and writer Alex Woo, chat with the young voice over French toast (it will be more meaningful after you watch the movie) and got a look behind the curtain for this fantastic adventure. I also looked at the first 30 minutes, a bit that is largely located in the real world, as opposed to the wild Dreamscapes Stevie and Elliot visits with stage -stale Baloney Tony (expressed by The Office alum Craig Robinson).
Don’t misunderstand me, the wild places teased in this 30-minute bit blew me away with some imaginative and amazing pictures, but it is the real drama and a quest for a young girl Keep her parents together to really Got me. When I looked at the new trailer a few months later, I was flooded with emotions when Stevie presented his goal to save his family:
We have a chance to save our family if we can find Sandman.
This whole dynamic of Stevie who tried to keep your parents together was teased as an important factor in the story. Essentially her mother (expressed by Emmy Winner Cristin Milioti) and her father (expressed by Simu Liu) drawn in two different directions, and this brave girl takes on to save the day. We’ve seen so many Fun family movies Where parents try to keep their children safe, so it will be interesting when it is the opposite later this fall.
Combine all the family dramas with some of the most eye -catching images I’ve seen from Netflix this year, and In your dreams may be streamers next big hit after the massive leaping success of KPOP Demon Hunters During the summer.
I’m not sure how much more Netflix will reveal (there is a “perfect princess” that I can’t wait for the world to see) before In your dreams Premiere on November 14, but it looks like it will be an amazing and very emotional journey like no one else.
