Benoit Blanc is back for another mystery, as Daniel Craigis lovely (and now wild hair) Sleuth returns in Wake up dead manthe third post in Rian Johnson’s Knives out franchise. As usual, he will be surrounded by a whole new role of characters (or more specifically suspects). Until this point, the fans had only had little teasing when it comes to the new players on this board this time. But thanks to a new trailer, we have a slightly better sense of these new faces, and I think I already have a favorite.
Wake Up Dead Man’s Trailer creates a mystery with religious consequences
As revealed in this new trailer above, the third Knives out Film will see Blanc solve the murder of a priest and, as previously teased, this case will test Benoit that no one else has ever done. Religious iconography was present in Wake up dead man Teaser It dropped months ago, and this new trailer is just expanding. The Gothic undertones are also present and suitable for this sacred (or unhealthy, depending on how you look at it) the deal.
This new girl puts the detectives among yet another assortment of interesting individuals, including Martha Delacroix (Glenn close), Dr. Nat Sharp (Jeremy Renner), Pastor Jud Dupenticy (Josh O’Connor), Lee Ross (Andrew Scott), Simone Vivane (Cailee Spaeney), Vera Draven (Kerry Washington), Cy Draven (Daryl McCormack) and Samson Holt (Thomas Haden Church). And, according to the trailer, the dead man in the middle of the mystery is an Msgr. Jefferson Wicks (Josh Brolin).
What I like about this trailer is that it contains flashes of several of the characters’ personalities. Although they do not actually speak, they even suggest glimpses what kind of behavior these people have before death. As always, Rian Johnson Have put together a talented ensemble. Of course, these films usually have a prominent star – apart from Daniel Craig – and there is one that already has my attention.
There is a special Wake Up Dead Man -Star that I already think is incredibly entertaining
Hollywood is filled with bright, young stars right now, and Josh O’Connor is definitely one of them. O’Connor made his big screen break in the movie 2017 God’s own countryAlthough he later received greater praise (and Emmy and Golden Globe Awards) for their work on The crown. The British Star Filmography has grown, with strong films such as EmmaThe Leeward and Challengers under his belt. Now it seems Knives out 3 May be another solid showcase for him.
During Wake Trailer, Josh O’Connor’s Pastor Duplenticy has some prominent moments, and they left me laugh. For example, the view of the young priest is accidentally releasing an explivor in the presence of Martha Delacroix so well. What also seems exciting is the relationship between duplement and blanc, which seems to form a kind of partnership, based on the trailer. Duplenticy’s concern when he meets Blanc’s intensity is excellent, and his attempt to get answers from the suspects also looks funny.
It seems my theory that Mastermind Star could steal the movie is also not unfounded. In the middle Early reactions to Wake up dead manHis appearance as a duplement has been praised by critics. While I try not to be too affected by early hype, this new trailer has me incredibly confident that O’Connor will flee with this 2025 Netflix -release.
Of course, I look forward to seeing how all the role members interact with each other. We can finally see that exactly when Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery Opens in selected theaters starting on November 26 with others 2025 movie release. The mystery girl will also be available to stream with a Netflix subscription Starts December 12th.
